Talk for the Times - Friday, February 5, 2010

The Bismarck-Mandan Branch of AAUW will present Talk for the Times, an evening of great conversation, good company, and amazing appetizers, beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010, at the Municipal Country Club (930 N. Griffin) in Bismarck.

Talk for the Times will feature local scholars and other specialists leading conversations on a variety of topics -- everything from photography to community gardens, nutrition, coin collecting, the Lebanese in North Dakota, recycling, community art, reading, volunteerism, and backyard birding. Guests will be able to participate in three different conversations during the evening by choosing their favorite topics when they arrive.

Tickets for Talk for the Times are $35 (two for $60). Reservations and payment required by January 31, 2010 (sorry, no refunds).
